About the Orchestra

The Menomonee Falls Symphony Orchestra is in its twenty-sixth season in the Menomonee Falls/ Sussex area. This orchestra brings to the community eighty years’ tradition of quality music making (formerly known as the Milwaukee Catholic Symphony Orchestra from 1942 to 1998). This tradition continues through the effort, support and dedication put forth by Robert Steliga, past President of the Menomonee Falls Family Festival Corp., who was instrumental in bringing the orchestra to the Menomonee Falls Community.

The Menomonee Falls Symphony Orchestra (MFSO) is a non-profit organization.  Our musicians are not salaried and perform with the MFSO for the love and passion to perform musical arrangements of all styles.  Many of our musicians are music teachers, semi-professional musicians and musicians who have other career paths.

The MFSO role as a Community Orchestra and the Arts:

    •  The objective of the Orchestra is to promote appreciation of classical symphonic and all styles of music for audiences and playing musicians.
    • The Orchestra also provides an opportunity for young artists and professional soloists to appear in concert with symphonic accompaniment.
    • Membership in this community orchestra is open to all capable adults and high school students. Auditions are held in September or by appointment

Menomonee Falls, you have a wonderful community orchestra in your backyard.  Come hear us!  Please support us! Donations welcomed.
